Many times, women are surprised by the possibility of losing their uterus. The news may be received as a solution to your fibroids, scar pregnancy or placental invasion problem, but the devastating effect of who receives this news is rarely considered, as the uterus is strongly tied to female identity.

Some professionals see hysterectomy as a solution to the problem, although without considering other therapeutic possibilities. I have heard patients say, they told me it could be done, but the uterus would be of no use or that there is a high risk of complications, such as bleeding and others. This causes an uncertainty between the desire to preserve the uterus and the possibility of becoming pregnant or taking an uncalculated risk. Fortunately this is not the case and in the vast majority of cases, THERE IS A SOLUTION and many pregnant women can attest that it is possible!
